"...I take pride in paying attention to what is important to my clients, so that they feel at home in their home."
While some may view organizing in terms of "things" or "spaces", for Saija, her work is about people. A member of the Professional Organizers of Canada since 2012, Saija brings a passion for people and organized spaces - helping you get your ducks in a row.
"As a working mother of three active teenagers I appreciate how difficult it is to keep a household organized. I also know how much calmer and happier we all are when there are reliable systems in place."
Downsizing is a key area for many clients. Saija's people-first approach makes it so much easier for older adults to transition from a big family home to a more manageable condo, or into a new suite in an assisted living arrangement. Saija understands and supports the emotional aspects of moving and downsizing.
"I feel fortunate to be able to help clients as they transition from one home to another. I provide the emotional support and confidently take care of all the practical matters."
Just like most of us, Saija enjoys looking at magazine articles that show off a freshly organized pantry, photographed & photoshopped by a pro, where all the items are beautifully displayed in swooshy baskets and tagged by fancy labels. However, she is quick to point out that most of us need to accommodate more than 3 soup cans, 2 boxes of cereal and 4 bottles of expensive water. Saija's solutions are practical, economical, flexible, and meant to be used.
Personable and hard-working, Saija brings decades of experience as an operations manager and executive assistant for The Butchart Gardens to her one-on-one work with clients. The reward of seeing clients happy in their home is paramount.
"I enjoy doing the hard work and seeing my clients uplifted with the results of the organizing,"
When not helping others create a home they love, Saija is loving her home with her husband and three busy kids, who always keep her inspired to craft new solutions to organizing challenges.
